As you know, your crews have been here on several occasions to address not only our first major renovation after we moved in and discovered the incredibly poor condition of the structure, but on several subsequent projects as we have continued to make this place livable.

Each subsequent project has been handled like the first, professionally and skillfully. Just like the first job, we have been consulted and offered alternatives all through the process. Your recommendations were always right on and the correct thing to do.

The workmanship of your crew was first rate and the guys were hard working, polite and easy to have around. We were particularly impressed to discover that you require a very specific ‘work ethic’ from your employees when they are on a job site. As we have mentioned to you on several occasions, they all adhered to your rules resulting in a completely relaxed relationship between them and us. We smiled every day when just before leaving, the crew quickly went around and ‘cleaned-up’ the site. It has made living through the entire process that much easier.

Your flexibility and understanding has been appreciated when scheduling and other personal issues at our end have caused us to ‘slow down’ the work.

As you know, all these jobs have been done on a cost plus basis and details were always available as to “where are we on costing so far”. You office folks have been able to provide interim statements on short notice so we could look at where we were and plan the next steps with you. 

We would not hesitate to recommend B & W Contracting to anyone looking to renovate his or her home or have any work done by B & W Contracting.

Actually, it turned out better than we hoped for! We should've expected it though, especially since we were very happy with your services before, having done our roof, doors, built our beautiful garage, a completely renovated our sun room. 

Here are a few things that impressed us:
- Your estimate was very accurate and the job came in on target.
- Your estimate was very competitive with other estimates we got from local contractors.
- You managed to get things done even when it rained most of the Summer and the siding company messed up our order and the siding was delayed 3 weeks.
- You had the siding company call us to apologize and provide us with a discount.
- Your team is very experienced and were able to handle every surprise that surfaced as they took all the old wood siding off and the windows out.
- Your team was very respectful of us and our property, they made sure things were safe and very clean after they left every day. They also were very friendly and answered our numerous questions while on site.
- We were impressed with the quality of the workmanship too (especially the aluminum metalwork). Now we Shouldn't have to paint again!!
- It was also great that you carried a great window product at a reasonable price, we have had many people comment on them already.

But it was the little things too that made a difference:

- You always came when you said you'd come, answered your phone when we called and dropped by often to see if we were happy with the progress.
- You thought of things like keeping a few extra siding pieces in case we ever had a little mishap with a baseball or something.

 "... The short version is that Bruce built a cottage/summer home for us beginning last fall and we moved in the spring. If we had it to do over again, we'd call Bruce. End of the short version.

Longer version. Last spring, we approached several builders in the Fredericton/Grand Lake area to see about getting a cottage built in White's Cove. When it appeared that scheduling was a problem, I sent letters to a dozen or so builders in the Fredericton to Sussex areas.
Within three days, Bruce called and was looking at our site. We did have a couple other responses but the combination of schedule, price, satisfactory references and quick follow-up on questions made Bruce our choice.

Several things impressed us during the building process. In addition to Bruce's willingness to meet at the site on our schedule, he called whenever there was an issue he thought we should know about and offered helpful suggestions (neither of us having a building
background) but never in a "directing" fashion. He determined what we wanted before offering suggestions instead of telling us what he thought we should do. The end product exceeded our expectations largely due to Bruce's work or suggestions. He also accommodated our changes and, again, produced excellent advice when we weren't sure how to go about something.

One of things that indicates if a consumer made a good purchase is the after sale service. How are you treated after the person has your money. Again, we are more than satisfied. Bruce has helped us with a well pump problem in our pre-existing well that occurred in the middle of a long weekend and returned numerous calls promptly about our new place.

To sum up, we're extremely satisfied with the work and service so would highly recommend Bruce for this type of building project..."

With his capable workers, they jacked up the camp and put it on a cement basement, removed the complete roof to install trusses, and has done some finish work on the inside.

I have found his work to be good. Any small problem that did occur was discussed and promptly fixed to my total satisfaction. He was prompt and started the work when he said he would and finished on time as well.
